There are different balloon basket sizes of up to 16 passengers but all around the side views. It's an adventure flight viewing animals, tree canopies and its endless landscape formation from above while enjoying a free float in the air.
It's normally about an hour or so adventurous journey, depending on the wind, and begins after a flight safety briefing from the pilot when the African sun is rising east above the horizon. A balloon representative will pick you up from your staying camp/lodge at around 5:30am and drive you to a launching site for about an hour, and this time around look for nocturnal animals coming back from their night activities like Aardvark, Lions, Leopards, Porcupine, Bush-babies etc etc.
After a successful balloon flight landing you celebrate with a champagne glass toss up, and the balloon crew driver picks you up to a bush breakfast spot under an umbrella acacia tree. Remember to sign up your three full names for your balloon flight certificate award and collect it at the end from your captain. Thereafter, normally at around 10:00am, you meet your safari guide and continue with your day plans and take all your balloon flight memories with you.
