Sametu Camp
The property
A secluded camp by the Sametu Kopjes with access to the ’Greek Gods’ lion pride and Barafu Gorge, the wildlife of Seronera without the crowds.
Seronera has the big cats but also the vehicles; Sametu was built as the quiet alternative, an intimate camp near the Sametu Kopjes with the same legendary predator density and a real sense of peace. A devoted staff and a private chef bring bush luxury to life, while the resident ’Greek Gods’ lion pride and the hidden Barafu Gorge are yours to explore far from the crowds.
I
Where it sits
On the eastern fringe of the Seronera Valley in a low-impact zone with almost no other vehicles; the nearest lodge is over an hour away. Set between the Ngare Nanyuki River and Soit le Motonyi with the Sametu Kopjes and marsh just south, it keeps prime predator country largely to itself.
