Lake Masek Tented Lodge
The property
Twenty chalets on the soda shore of Lake Masek in Ndutu, private soaking tubs, outdoor showers, and the February calving on the plain in front.
A permanent tented lodge on the glittering soda shore of Lake Masek, opened in 2009 and the premier lake-view choice in the southern Serengeti. Twenty chalets with private soaking tubs and outdoor showers; a vaulted main lodge holding the open-air dining hall, bar and library, and a game-viewing terrace with a huge acacia growing straight through the deck. In February and March the Ndutu plains fill with newborn wildebeest and the predators that follow.
