Formerly Serena Mountain Village, the hotel sits in gardens on the shores of Lake Duluti, about 15 km east of Arusha. Its round stone cottages cluster around a flowering village square, and from the lawns guests can walk the forest trail, canoe on the crater lake or look for colobus monkeys and some 130 bird species.
